The poet Taopan Patra published
his two Kabyagrantha the ‘Rachit Kabita “ and ‘Bibhabari ‘ with innovative
themes today on 23rd November 2018 at his birth place Shalpara.

A functional ceremony was
organized by his home place Sabuj Sangha club members in favour of publication
of these books.

The book ‘Rachit Kabita’ cover was opend by Mridul Sreemani in
presence of poet Tapan Patra and his mother Sumitra Patra. The book ‘Bibhabari’
was opened by the professor Dr.
Chandidas Mukharjee to the honor of the poet’s mother Sumitra Patra and handed
over to her.

The functional ceremony had been
started with the opening song of local singer Gorachand Narayan Dev with the
help of Balaram Dutta and Sachin Mahapatra.
Launch had been arranged there
for guests by the help of Sabuj Sangha Club Members.The program was continued
from 11.00 a.m to 3.00 p.m.
The poet Tapan Patra born on 2nd
October 1971. His father Krishna Chandra Patra and mother Sumitra Patra.His
birth place is Shalpara,P.O-Bisri,P.S-Manbazar Dist-Purulia.

Although he had come forth in a poor family he was
intelligent from earlier childhood
time.He had started his school life with village Shalpara Primary School
(Govt.sponsord), passed Madhyamick from Manbazar Radha Madhab Institution
(R.M.I).He had completed his graduation from Panchmura College and got
doctorate from Ranchi University with M.A in Bengali from there.

Tapan Patra begun writing poem
from earlier school life.He also published little magazine many times.We were
influenced by his poem waiting today’s happening.
Shalpara Sabuj Sangha Club was
established in 1985 by the founder of Indra Narayan Ganguly.

Indra Narayan Ganguly was the first President of this club
and Tapan Patra was the associate member among
others.Tapan Patra play rolls in different fields of this club many
times many ways.
Traditional life of his family is
‘Shib’ rituals.Named ‘Gadadhar Shib’. Every year they follow ‘Shib festival’
with pompously.
In this year ,the two books of
Tapan Patra have been published following holly situation of ‘Kartik Purnima
Rasutsab’. We feel proud from our locality.
