Glorious day of Debashis Narayan Dev , decedents of the king Bhaktaranjan Narayan Dev  who is the land donor of Patharmohara Primary School has been commemorated ( making engraved his name ) by the presence of District Inspector of Schools (Primary / D.I/s) Prasanta Kumar Mukharjee ,Purulia along with the District Project Officer (D.P.O ) Bikash Ranjan Majumder , Purulia.

The ceremony of commemoration was held at school very gorgeous manner

 by the arrangement of ex-teacher Debashis Narayan Dev and  the son of Bhakta Ranjan Narayan Dev. A smriti-Falak in the name of Sri Bhaktaranjan Narayan Dev was made on the front wall

of new building near the main gate of school and opened by the D.I/s Sri Prasanta Kumar Mukharjee.

Sri Gorachand Narayan Dev was present  there. His two opening songs develop the sprite of ceremony . The speech about old history including gradual development of school was focused by

 honorable person of locality and ex-teacher of same school Sri Dhirajshankar Chowdhury.

Sri Nandadulal Sing ,Sub-Inspector of Schools Manbazar-1 Circle was also attend there for whole time.

The total ceremonial function was organized by the head teacher of this school Sri Tapas Kumar Pramanik . Assistant teacher Debashis Dutta also help him in this work.

In this ceremony , there present  Joyram Mahata ( District committee member W.B.T.P.T.A ) , President of  District committee W.B.T.P.T.A   Sri Bimal Mahata and secretary Bipadtaran Mahata, Samir Dutta (Press member ABP), Ex- primary teacher Biswanath Dutta and Taraknat Roy,Gouripradas Mahanty, Ranjit Kumar Rajak, Amitava Misra, Nazrul Islam among teachers were the witness of this very important day.

PATHARMOHRA SARVAJANIN KALIPUJA

Kali temple place is located in front of Block animal hospital near the Manbazar-1 Block Office. This is not family temple. It has been performed since 2011.

History : A few friends planned to incept Kalipuja within their locality. They are Pratim Paramanik, Mritunjoy Bose,Bhim Chowdhury, Utpal Ghatak , Budheswar Lohar and Bhim etc. They purchased a mud built deity

 of Goddess Kali and arranged worship on the field of exact location. With the help of neighbor  and their initiatives they have successfully build a structured building on that place and arranged worship of God Kali in gorgeous manner in this year 2019.

This year, first time they are going to worship stone made icon of God Kali.

Shiva shrine place

 They also made a Shiva shrine attaching west side of the Kali temple. They have also plane to make a Bajrang temple near this place.

Rituals: They follow the common rituals of Kali worship. He got scarification along with Cucumber,sugar cane etc performed here in due time each year.  Main priest of this temple is Kalyan Purohit . Other  two priests are Fatic Ganguly and Somnath Narayan Dev.

Fund: They have no movable and immovable properties in the name of Goddess Kali. Collection was done before worship from neighbor and other every year.

Activity: ‘Bastra bitaran’  for poor and needy people is unique thing performed by them every year during this festival time. They collect these cloths from their willful friends, neighbor, contractors etc.
